About Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is based in a purpose built nursery in the centre of Lewes. The nursery opened in 2013.  We’re a small nursery with a really friendly, family feel, packed with a huge range of stimulating and age appropriate ways to play and learn for all our children. 

We offer funded places for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds.   

Located in the centre of Lewes, close to the A27, we’re easily accessible for families coming from Uckfield, Ringmer and surrounding villages,as well as from Seaford and Brighton.

Fees

For children not in receipt of funding our fees include all meals and snacks, nappies and wipes. As well as special visitors to the nursery like Dan the Singing Man, Tatty Bumpkins Yoga and any trips out we make. 

Healthy Food Choices 

A healthy varied diet is provided by Zebedees  one of the UK’s leading nursery caterers. Children receive a healthy breakfast, a hot lunch with dessert and healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon. If they’re with us after 4pm we provide  a light tea.

Stepping Stones has been awarded a 5 Star food safety rating by the Food Standards Agency.
